I'm not sure if this is really considered "crafty", or a "project" but it was actually something I've had on my "to-do" list for quite a while now! I have lots of magazine files. I use them to hold magazines {of course}, but also paper, catalogs, and any other 8 1/2 x 11 piece of something worth saving. I'm constantly re-arranging, so I hate permanent labels because they will be correct one minute and wrong the next. Because of this, all my files still had their store bought pre-set labels like this:
I decided to fill the space with something prettier without committing to truly "labeling". So, I printed a piece of digital scrapbook paper, cut it up into the proper shapes, and replaced every label slot I could find. It took me 5 minutes! WHY did I put it off for so long? I have no idea.
PS - Where did the other white magazine file go in this picture?! Schuyler......
