June Garden

Happy summer! It has finally arrived!! All of the flowers in the yard are happy at the moment. What’s NOT happy is our veggie garden, or lack thereof. After getting behind in the planning schedule, and then accidentally planting seeds packed for 2011 {which did not sprout}, we have peas at the moment and that’s about all. Since our summers are not too hot, I think I can still get away with planning some lettuce and fall greens soon. The strawberries are in full swing and I’m hopeful that we will get our first few raspberries on our 2 year old bushes! Here’s what the garden looked like at this same time last year.
