I'm baaaaack + the best of July 2012

After being in New York City for 6 days and returning home at 1 am Monday morning, it’s safe to say my brain is a puddle of mush! BlogHer was mostly amazing although I don’t think the fullness of the week has truly set in yet. There is so much to process! If you are a new friend, WELCOME!!!

While I re-organize {which so far has consisted of cleaning out the fridge rather than unpacking my suitcase}, I thought I would share 2 small bits with you today.

First, Josh and Sky had a wonderful week without me. For some reason, Josh can get this boy of mine to cooperate and do major life changing things, like leave his binky for the binky fairy once and for all!!! The tip has been gone for quite some time but this was the final step and he actually agreed! In return, Mrs. Fairy left Sky a brand new cement mixer that has become his new best friend. A boy and his truck, it just doesn’t get any better.

Secondly, I love to feature my favorite posts from each month just in case there was something you missed {or in case you are here for the first time}. July was WONDERFUL and with it, we welcomed the arrival of summer and strawberry season, 2 of my very favorite things. I also created new business cards, showed you my new favorite book, reminisced about our trip to Italy 10 years later, and took some time to unplug {would love to have you join us this month!}.
