It’s that time of year where I begin thinking about autumn, and in particular, Halloween! The sad truth is that if you don’t plan/buy a costume early for your little one, everything is gone come October, so today, I have a few ideas to spark your creative juices. Last year, Sky was a gnome and I just can’t seem to shake the cuteness that comes with little woodland creatures. Here are a few of my favorites:
{One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine}
I love the handmade, cheerful vibe of these costumes; perfect for young toddlers!
In case you don’t need a full blown costume but still want “Halloween-light”, here are a few other options that could also be worn throughout the year:
Animal hats! I’m a huge fan at any time of the year! {Owl #1, Raccoon, Owl #2}
Perhaps you just need a little mask or a hint of whimsy?! {DIY Owl mask, Snouts & Tails}
Or, maybe you just want to invest in a stunning wool coat from Little Goodall {also pictured in #3 above} that could double as a costume AND a winter coat? These are absolutely GORGEOUS. How amazing would it be to actually own one?
Last but not least, if you would like to see the most fantastic adaptation of woodland costumes for ADULTS, click over to this post on Espana Photography. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! I think I would be the bunny rabbit!
