Was it the holidays? Is it the lull of the new year? Do I have seasonal affective disorder? {It’s so dark and icky here in Seattle}. I have no idea what’s going on but I’m having a severe case of writer’s block, coupled with complete un-motivation to check blogs, twitter, take photos, or even do things like clean the house or decorate. My mind is jumbled with a ton of topics but none far enough along to develop into anything organized. Or, I’ll land on something for a post and then just can’t seem to DO IT. Has this ever happened to you? Do you have any tips on getting out of this funk?

While I sit here and mull, I thought I would do something fun with all of you that I recently saw over on Effortless Style {love her blog!}. Like Camila writes, I know that I have more readers than commenters. Some of you I know pretty well and others of you have yet to come out of hiding, hehe. Either way, I’m pretty sure we all have something in common and I want to know more about you!

Here are my answers:
- I live just outside of Seattle, WA {born and raised!}
- My favorite dessert is vanilla bean crème brulee {it has to be really well done with the perfect crunchy sweet crust, real whipped cream, real vanilla bean, and berries – buttery smooth} and also high-quality chocolate, especially dark chocolate salted caramels from Fran’s. Oh yes, and gelato. And French macaroons. And S’mores. Yeahhh, all that. BIG sweet tooth over here.
- I’ve always been a huge fan of Project Runway {Season 11 premiers January 24!} but TV time is so sparse I never really watch anything else. When I’m on maternity leave, one of my goals is to watch Homeland and try Downton Abbey. We’ll see how far I get!

I live in Evansville, IN. We just moved here 3 months ago though, after living in Berlin, Germany for a year.
I have yet to meet a dessert I did not like, but the most memorable was this amazing lime cheesecake with mango sauce drizzled on top and a sugar crusty thing that was infused with Habanjero. It was amazing.
Currently, the only things I take the time to watch are Parenthood, Breaking Bad, and Walking Dead.

What’s your favorite dessert? I too love creme brulee (w/extra thick, crusty top) and all things sweet. Seriously, all of it!
Current favorite TV show? Project Runway, Top Chef, The Bachelor - reality TV junkie here... but I don't have time for TV much these days.

I'm in Yakima, WA. I was feeling the funk too. But the sun has been out the past couple of days. It has done wonders. :-)
Favorite dessert is the flourless chocolate torte that my husband makes for my birthday each year.
I don't have much time for tv. But when I do watch it is usually something on HGTV or The Food Channel.
I have too many favorite blogs to list. I need to update the blog roll on my blog to reflect them all.

Hi. I came across you blog from your reply on Facebook to the SITSGirl question about what your niche is. I am always on the look out for other bloggers in the Pacific Northwest and I found a couple other from the comments you had on this post.
When I have writer's block, I find taking a hot shower can help, so can picking something to clean or organize for 5-10 minutes. And now a little about me:
