Sky was born in December 2009. If you do the math, it’s pretty embarrassing how long it took me to get these photo books together! It was one of those ongoing projects that continually got put on the back burner. But, what really matters now is that they are FINISHED!!!!!!
There are wayyyy too many pictures of Sky’s first year so I ended up with 3 separate “volumes” of 100 pages each. After trying a few digital book companies, I finally settled on MyPublisher because I found their book software the easiest and most intuitive to use. The paper and picture quality is beautiful and I’m so happy to finally have something tangible to look at!
My next endeavor is to complete 2011 and 2012, which I’m hoping will be easier because at that point, I finally started organizing my photos better and have a folder for each month of the year dedicated to my best shots. It's so nice to have something to display on the coffee table or just look through when you don't feel like scanning through a million photos on the computer. Plus, Sky enjoys looking at pictures of himself from when he was just a little tiny baby {my how the last 3 years have flown...}!

These are gorgeous, Emily! This is the motivation I need to start pulling my own 3 years of kids photos together into photo books. I'm definitely going to check out My Publisher.

These are absolutely beautiful!! I'm in the same boat. My little one will be 3 in May and I've still yet to do a baby book for each year, even though I've got folders full of things to put in it. A photo book with an envelope in the back to hold momentos it what I'll do as well. Thanks for the kick in the pants to get a move on it!!

I love this! Looks like you have some really great pictures of your family. And how cute is little baby Sky?! I've been really wanting to do the same, but just never seem to find the time.
I love that Sky likes to look at pictures of himself. Q thinks all the baby pictures are Archer. And you are not allowed to in any way infer that Q used to be little or a baby, lol.

I've really been meaning to do something like this and am glad you posted about your experience. I love having some loose photos to browse though, but I am coming around to the photo book for it's simplicity, smaller size, and cost. I read a post on young house love recently about their family yearbooks and between that and this I think I am ready to dive in.
