We have a lot of really awesome baby products that we LOVE from when we had Sky. For example, this swing, this car seat
, and this carrier
.
But, as our tastes have changed and I’ve become more knowledgeable about all things baby, there are a few different and new things I’m coveting this time around.
1. Kushies Sleepers - When Sky was an infant, he received some Kushies clothes as a baby shower gift. They turned out to be our favorite. They are super soft, easy to get on/off, and are high quality that washes well and doesn’t fade.
2. Aden + Anais Swaddle Blankets – Sky wasn’t a huge fan of swaddling, but we also didn’t try that hard. I was scared to touch my baby let alone wrap him up like a burrito. This time, I’m hoping to master it a little better.
3. SoYoung Charlie Unisex Diaper Bag - The first time around, we had a Skip Hop messenger style diaper bag. While I am a huge Skip Hop fan, the bag itself just doesn’t cut it. It’s not big enough. It’s nerve wracking to think of spending $175 on a diaper bag but check out this video and tell me you’re not impressed!
4. BOB Revolution Stroller – With Sky, we had a Chicco Cortina stroller that went with his car seat. It was an ok stroller but the longer I used it, the more I felt like it couldn’t handle the mud, trails, and uneven ground we commonly walk on. It’s a good starter stroller but we are ready for something more heavy duty. I’ve gone back and fourth on whether to get a double stroller or something like the Phil & Teds
but I worry we won’t use it enough to justify the price since Sky will be almost 3 1/2 and I will probably be wearing the baby a lot anyway when he’s a tiny peanut.
5. Sleep Sheep – Sky was always hard to settle and hard to get to sleep. He would wake up constantly and cry until the wee hours of the morning {I blame this on colic in the early days}. We never had a noise machine or any other gadgets so this time around, I want to try something different. I’ve heard great things about the Sleep Sheep and am excited to try it!
6. Nosefrida Baby Nasal Aspirator – The nasal aspirator you get from the hospital is the best – get extras if you can because nothing you buy in the store will ever compare! Even so, it’s hard to get all the gunk out when your little one is really stuffed up and with the amount of times Josh has voluntarily sucked the snot out of Sky {he’s a brave brave man}, I’m hoping this will help for those really bad colds.
What are your new baby must-haves? Is there anything you can’t live without? Or, perhaps you are a new expecting mama and don’t know where to start? I thought this list was also very helpful for parents at any stage!!

Yes yes yes! Couldn't live without the sleep sheep. Check out the new aden and anais swaddles wraps! Best one I have ever used and I am giving one away next week! Stella still loves our nose frida. That + some saline clears it all out lol.
Currently we can't live without a good bib - there is so much drool!
We went for a sit and stand stroller after a lot of the same debate and use it was more for Stella then we thought. I relized even a year from now when we are t the mall or the zoo or somewhere busy it is nice to have her plop down and stay contained. We also bought a macalaren that is small that we an use in another month or so when rob is a little bigger for trips when just he need one. Otherwise I just wear him ;)
This is a great list em!

We swaddled Levi for a long time but could never get the lovely Aden + Anais swaddle blankets to wrap tightly enough. Eventually, we discovered Summer Infant Swaddle Me blankets -- with Velcro! Cheating never felt so good.
We were also Sleep Sheep devotees. Although we thought Levi had outgrown the need for white noise, he recently started asking for it again. Whatever helps him sleep, right?
As for strollers, we are big fans of the UppaBaby brand. Their Vista stroller has an adapter for Chicco car seat, which is what we used.
I've heard so many good things about Nose Frida...but I'm afraid to try it!

We have numbers 2 and 6 and love 'em! I use that nose frida all the time. We couldn't live without our carriers. We have an ergo, ring sling, mei tai and moby and that have all gotten their fare share of use.
