Between moving and getting ready to welcome a new baby, the re-organization and storage management of Sky’s toys has been on my mind lately. As he gets older, the small pieces are increasing and I know we are only a short time away from Legos everywhere and a crawling baby who will be into everything.
So, imagine my surprise and delight when I came across Swoop Bags – an all-in-one play mat and storage bag for kids to easily pick up their toys in an instant. Not only is the idea GENIUS, but it was invented by Sarah, a local Seattle mom of 2 boys.
Check these out:
The bag comes in 2 sizes: original and mini, in an array of fun rainbow colors. Each bag is made from durable cotton canvas with nylon cording and perhaps the best part…they can be put in the washing machine! It’s a simple solution to control the clutter, all made in the U.S.A!
Sky has been enjoying his Swoop Bag in many ways. Last week, he was OBSESSED with dumping out his piggy bank everywhere, and after picking up coins all over the house for days, I finally limited him to his Swoop area and it worked great!
Another favorite of Sky’s are his wooden train pieces and citiblocs. Also, let’s not forget THE BEANS {not pictured}…oh those Lima beans will be the death of me but he loves playing with them so much. Giving him a designated area to play on has helped so much since I’m to the point in my pregnancy where I really can’t get up once I bend down.
I know for sure that as Sky’s collections grow and so does our family, Swoop bags are going to be a huge lifesaver! I’ve got my eye on a mini bag next…perfect for travel and small enough for Sky to carry on his own!
