Hi, I’m Emily! Above, you’ll also see my handsome husband Josh and our little baby toddler, Schuyler (aka Sky), who was born in December 2009. Josh and I are high school sweeties who married in 2005 and we make our home in the great Pacific Northwest, just outside of Seattle, where we are both born and raised.
I started blogging as a way to document my pregnancy and later birth….and it’s turned into my online memory book and a collection of our life adventures. Becoming a mom is the hardest thing I’ve ever done but each day comes with more learning, growing, patience, and understanding. I’m also a full time workin’ gal and when I’m not making the long commute to/from work, I’m usually gardening, crafting, creating, taking pictures, reading blogs, and constantly archiving our life and all the things I love and want to remember.
Little things make me happy….like paper goods, antique stores, making lists, fresh mowed grass, the smell of old garages, push out windows, bucket seats in old cars, candy corn, clean sheets, cake stands, coffee with lots of creamer, and peonies.
